This is an unusually good cookie. Sugar, egg whites, dark cocoa, and walnuts. Simple ingredients. The egg whites lend a nice puffiness, the sugar starts off very chewy then over its life cycle goes crispy–with a hint of chew. The walnuts of course add a nice chew and nuttiness. This cookie goes great with a hot latte, chocolate, or glass of red wine. Be warned–it can be messy.
