We are a diverse mix of family that works together to create some of the southeast’s finest chocolates, confections and cakes.
Andy Ciordia
Andy can create in the kitchen but is more at home in the design and marketing. That doesn’t stop him from being more useful than a swiss army knife. Andy is at home anywhere he is and he’s had his fair share of kitchen duties to web design. While part of his life is dedicated to technology he has a love for the culinary craft and continues to develop it whenever he is able.
Robin Ciordia
Coordinator extraordinaire. Robin’s a human switchboard channeling chocolate to those who need it. She may show up at your establishment ready to find a way to fit chocolate into the mix or she can be found in the kitchen learning more about the craft and helping when the volume is high.
Logan Ciordia
Logan was born 1 month before The Secret Chocolatier opened their first shop. He has been with the family every step of the way and has shown an aptitude to baking. He loves making cakes with his grandfather Bill and has a sweet tooth for all of our confections.
Chef Bill Dietz
An alchemist of sorts. Bill is a chocolate artisan. He’s been a pastry chef for over thirty years from the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach to his own bakery in Columbia. He worked for the Sonoma Group in Charlotte as their executive pastry chef doing desserts for three restaurants.
Karen Dietz
A highly kinetic woman, Karen keeps things moving. In the last year Karen has become an integral part to keeping the kitchen moving forward. Whether it’s creating infusions or hand shaping our delicious chocolates she’s quite the aid to Bill.
